How do I learn to use GreenShift and/or GreenLight?
There are three important sources where you can learn more about GreenShift and GreenLight:
- The official GreenShift website
- The official GreenLight Builder Pro website
- The official GreenShift YouTube channel
They have some problems though.
➡️ The Greenshift Website
This resource has tons of information but unfortunately is not well structured and is hard to search through.
The problem is that for some ungodly reason the site uses the basic WordPress search engine which only looks inside blog posts. These blog posts are used to present only some of the information.
The much better structured Learning Center is not searchable. Querying its own search field that sits on the very top will not return results from the documentation.
There is a workaround that solves this: use Google as your search engine. In any browser, load the Google search page and type your query followed by ‘site:greenshiftwp.com’. This will return the full range of results.
As a shortcut to the above, in Chromium based browsers, type ‘greenshiftwp.com’ in your address/search field then press Tab instead of Enter, and the browser will switch the search context to the GreenShift website alone, which will return results from all its post types, documentation included.

➡️ The GreenLight Buillder Pro Website
I like this one for the good description of GreenLight element blocks and the many practical examples. It can be found in the ‘Block List’ section of the website.
➡️ The WP Soul YouTube Channel
The GreenShift YouTube channel contains lots of information but the problem is that most of the tutorials are based on older UI and may look outdated.
They aren’t — the logic is the same — but some people might get confused by the changes in appearances. My advice is to try and get past those and concentrate on the logic and process while ignoring the difference in GUI visuals.
